Child Photography Wilmington de- Jackson and the pumpkin patch fail

It’s that time of the year again.  Starbucks breaks out all their pumpkin products- Pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin bread, pumpkin spice muffin etc etc. After a week of having pumpkin spice lattes everyday (YUM), I decided it was time to take Jackson for his FIRST pumpkin patch pictures.   I guess I thought- if starbucks is ready with pumpkin products- the pumpkin patches should be ready also!!!  Well, that isn’t exactly true- as we found out today.  We dressed Jackson up… Randy and I got all dressed up.  We got to the farm, only to find pumpkins that were slightly larger than Jackson’s little head.  It was truly a Pumpkin Patch fail.  So instead we found a nice wood pirate ship and took a few quick shots in front of it.  Definitely not the shoot I was planning for. According to one of the girls working- pumpkins will be ready to go in a MONTH.  So looks like Jackson, Randy, and I will be making our way back to the pumpkin farm in a month for more pumpkin patch pictures.  Jackson was unimpressed with the baby pumpkins.  BUT- He was super impressed with my long dangly earrings- as evidenced by him trying to yank it out of my ear.  Babies and girls love love love shiny things.

Pumpkin patches are an awesome place to shoot family photography.  I am looking forward to booking quite a few sessions at pumpkin patches in the central Delaware and tristate area.  You can contact me via email to chat about scheduling your fall photography session.  My email is lbvfoto@gmail.com.  You can also check out our website or facebook page for more information about our fall family sessions.  October and November are ALMOST full so make sure you call or email soon. I have a few dates left in late September.  Can’t wait to chat!!!!
