Who wants to take a peek inside my studio?
I am always texting clients images of my prop room so they have a better idea of the gorgeous things I can dress their baby in. After a hundred and one texts, I finally got around to taking REAL pictures, not just Iphone pictures. You know, since I am a photographer and everything. My studio is right inside our house. This ends up being a blessing (most of the time). I always ask our clients to excuse my baby boy’s toys that are cluttering our living room. Despite the baby toy mess, there are definitely advantages. It is really nice though to go make coffee for our clients in my own kitchen.
My studio consists of a shooting room, prop room, ordering room, and a ton of closet space. I am always happy to welcome my clients into our home. =O)
This is my studio. It is currently set up for a newborn client, but I can just as easily remove the beanbag and just use the backdrop stand for my child and family clients. I did try to straighten up before I photographed my studio space, but I noticed afterwards that I forgot to remove the paper towels. As you can image, with naked babies there are definitely some messes to clean up!
Within two weeks after their session my clients come over and we watch all of their images on a large tv. I then help my clients go through the images and choose their favorites to purchase. More images of my ordering room are coming… soon. =O)
Finally, this is my favorite room in the house, my prop room. My prop room is organized by little girl and little boy items. I am lucky to work with some awesome and talented girls that fill my studio with new items on a consistent basis.
