Dog Photography Altoona PA B Family

When Karen first asked me to do a dog photography session with her sweet Dino and Pebbles, I was 5 months pregnant.  We tried to make it into Altoona 2 times, but it just didn’t work out.  Altoona is about a 4.5 hour drive away from Middletown, DE.  Randy and I both grew up there and just love going back to our hometown.   It is great to visit and see old friends.  We knew we were coming home to visit for Labor day and I was SO excited when Karen decided to hire me for a third time! By now, Dino was no longer a tiny little puppy- he was a BIG puppy.  I was bummed I missed out on Dino’s puppy pictures.  Can you blame me? Who doesn’t want to photograph and cuddle a sweet little puppy!  Well Dino is MUCH bigger now but still super cuddly! Both Dino and Pebbles warmed right up to me and my camera.  We had a fabulous time hanging out.  I even got a tad nostalgic.  You see, back when I was growing up- my dad had a studio in Altoona.  It was called Reflections Photography.  He photographed weddings and portraiture.  That was back in the days of film.  I didn;t realize this- but he had photographed Karen’s wedding and She still had her wedding album!  I was SO EXCITED to be able to look through it and see my dad’s work.  Talk about life coming full circle.  I may have shed a tear or two thinking about the fact that my work would be hanging on the wall and hopefully be just as treasured as my Dad’s work was.  That is probably the coolest feeling ever.   I had a great time photographing Karen’s sweet pets.  If you would like for me to come out to photograph your sweet animals- you can email me at lbvfoto@gmail.com.  You can also check out my work at facebook or use the quick contact form on my website-  www.LBV-photo.com.
