“My family has just finished our first deployment. My husband was in Saudi Arabia for 6 months. My four year old daughter had a very hard time understanding how long 6 months was. I moved home to have help from my family so I could finish up my college degree. Although this was a very hard time for all of us, we all gained something from the experience. My husband was able to guard Barack Obamas plane while he visited Saudi, I was able to finish up my degree and my daughter knows the real sacrifice of soldiers.”
